Everyone is different and this is very difficult to answer, but a positive attitude, open mind, and willingness to engage with the material can certainly speed the process. Can you diagnose my child with dyslexia or a learning disability? No. Only a psychologist is qualified to provide a diagnosis. However, I will do an initial assessment to provide a baseline for growth and to determine areas of strength and need, which provides us with a starting point. How much do you charge? Also notice and note words that seem to break conventions we have discussed, and bring them to our sessions. This way we can learn why instead of treating them as random exceptions.
